The artist was born in Toulouse in 1970, where he lives and works. He studied at the Fine Art School of Toulouse where he was graduated in 1997.
Alexandre Nicolas works on his personal icones and heroes who are for him a modern transcription of the mythology. The theme of foetus reminds the genesis, the conception instant.
The Nicolas' artworks are based on the symbols and the myths. He creates, metamorphoses and finally, exhibits them, frozen in inclusion where the notion of time stays in suspension.
